Why we built Chief

We met at Georgia Tech, bonded over late-night hackathons and a shared frustration: every company we worked at — from startups to Amazon — was drowning in operational chaos.

SOPs lived in someone's head. Onboarding was a mess. The founder was still writing memos at midnight because no one else could do it “right.”

We saw the same pattern everywhere: talented teams bottlenecked by operational work that should be automated but wasn't. Not because the technology didn't exist — but because no one had the time to set it up properly.

So we built Chief. Not another tool you have to learn. A system we configure, deploy, and maintain for you. So you can focus on what actually matters.
